Bloomington Man Robert Boro Missing since New Year’s

Bloomington, Indiana – January 11, 2024

A Bloomington men went missing on New Year’s, according to the Bloomington Police Department. He was last seen around midnight on December 31st.

Robert “Bob” Boro, 44, disappeared after his gray 2010 Ford F-150 truck crashed into a house in the 1800 block of South Curry Pike. His phone was left behind.

Boro lives in the 4100 block of Vernal Pike, but never returned home after the crash, and hasn’t been seen my family members since disappearing.

The crash was reported around 1:22 when a family arrived home and found the truck, which had been abandoned. But, not before the truck crashed into flower planters, and trash cans. The truck stopped when it hit a porch, and an attached garage. A cell phone was on the seat of the truck.

Anybody with information, or knowledge about the whereabouts of Boro should call the Bloomington Police Department at 812-339-4477.

Boro isn’t the only person missing in the Bloomington area, Jerry “Jerald” Sipes was reported missing on November 10, 2023.

Lauren Spierer, an Indiana University Student, has been missing since June 3, 2011.
