Bloomington Fire Department Brave Freezing Temperatures For Ice Water Rescue Training at Miller-Showers Park Sunday

Members of the Bloomington Fire Department utilized the opportunity presented cold weather and icy conditions to undergo training in ice water rescue techniques on Sunday at Miller-Showers Park in Bloomington, Indiana.

Each firehouse in the city dedicated an hour to training in waters that were 8 feet deep or more, utilizing special gear under the guidance of BFD Sergeant Brandon Hudson, who served as the instructor.
