Levitation Crowned Best Among U.S. Music Festivals in 2024

Written from press release:

A recent study has unveiled the most favored music festivals across the United States for the year 2024, with Levitation emerging as the top choice, surpassing even the renowned Coachella.

The study, conducted by kryptocasinos.com, analyzed the popularity of various festivals based on Google searches, TikTok video and view counts, and Instagram hashtag counts, culminating in a unique index score that delineated America’s favorite festivals of 2024.

Taking the lead with an impressive score of 91.9 out of 100 is Levitation. Formerly recognized as Austin Psych Fest, this psychedelic music extravaganza has amassed a devoted following for its mind-expanding performances and avant-garde lineup, solidifying its status as the most sought-after festival this year.

In a close second, with a score of 81.8, is Coachella. Renowned for its star-studded lineup and trendy ambiance, Coachella continues to captivate massive crowds and dominate social media platforms annually, firmly securing its position as a frontrunner in the festival ranking.

Securing the third spot with an impressive score of 81.1 is South by Southwest (SXSW), held in Austin, Texas. Recognized for its diverse blend of music, film, and interactive media, SXSW enthralls audiences with its innovative performances and cultural significance.

Claiming the fourth position is Big Ears, boasting a score of 74.0. This avant-garde music celebration, hosted in Knoxville, Tennessee, showcases a diverse lineup of experimental and boundary-pushing artists, attracting music aficionados from around the world.

Rounding out the top five is Movement, with a commendable score of 64.1. Hosted annually in Detroit, Michigan, Movement is revered for its celebration of electronic music and urban culture, maintaining its status as a favorite within the global electronic music scene.

However, not all festivals received accolades in the study. Some were deemed overrated by festivalgoers, failing to meet expectations. Leading the list of underwhelming festivals is Riot Fest, scoring a mere 18.3. Despite its renowned status, the festival struggled to live up to its reputation.

Similarly, Summerfest and Pitchfork Music Festival garnered disappointing scores of 18.5 and 20.7, respectively, highlighting challenges in maintaining relevance within the competitive music landscape.
