Trump found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records; Trump calls country rigged and blames conviction on Biden, Soros and D.A.

NEW YORK — May 30, 2024

Former President Donald J. Trump, the 2024 Republican front-runner for president, was found guilty Thursday of all 34 counts of falsifying business records during a hush money trial in New York.

Trump is the first president in American history to be convicted of a felony.

Prosecutors accused Trump of participating in an illegal conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the 2016 election. The charges include concealing a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels in an unlawful plan to suppress negative information, according to CNN.

Meanwhile, Trump condemned what he called a ‘rigged, disgraceful trial’ following his conviction by a jury, according to Fox News. On CNN, Trump could be heard on audio outside the court blaming it on a rigged country, and blaming George Soros, and the D.A., for his conviction. He also called America a country in decline. Then he blamed the Biden administration for his conviction.

Meanwhile, opposing protesters clashed outside the court according to Fox.

Trump will be sentenced in July four days before the Republican National Convention where he is the presumptive nominee in the 2024 election for President of the United States.
