Man Injured After Being Dumped into Trash Truck Sunday Outside Salvation Army in Bloomington, Indiana

Bloomington, Ind. – June 12, 2024

A 37-year-old man was injured early Saturday morning when he was accidentally dumped out of a dumpster into a trash truck at the Salvation Army in the 100 block of N. Rogers Street in Bloomington, Indiana, according to a Bloomington Police Department summary.

According to the initial report, the man was discovered in the trash truck after the dumpster he was in was emptied.

Despite the injuries sustained from the fall, the man refused medical treatment at the scene.

Authorities have not released the man’s identity, and why he was in the dumpster was not in the summary.
