Indiana State Police Arrest Bedford Man for Alleged Child Molestation

Bedford, Ind. – June 24, 2024

Indiana State Police detectives from the Bloomington Post have arrested a Bedford man on charges related to child molestation. Todd W. Dasenbrock, 46, was taken into custody at his residence on Monday, June 24th, without incident and transported to the Lawrence County Jail, according to the ISP.

The arrest follows an investigation that began on December 15, 2023, when the Indiana State Police were notified by the Department of Child Services of an allegation involving a 12-year-old female victim. According to detectives, Dasenbrock allegedly molested the child over a period of 2-3 years.

The Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant after receiving all case information from the detectives. Dasenbrock faces multiple charges, including four counts of child molestation, each a Level 1 felony, and one count of child molestation, a Level 4 felony.

All criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
