Written from press release

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – July 9, 2024

The Indiana men’s basketball program has revealed its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season, highlighted by an anticipated home game against South Carolina. Head Coach Mike Woodson shared his enthusiasm for the challenging lineup aimed at building the team’s success.

“My staff and I put together a non-conference schedule that will lead to long-term success this season,” Woodson said. “We have a new team this year that we are excited to showcase in front of the sold-out crowds in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.”

The Hoosiers are set to open their season at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with games against SIU-Edwardsville on November 6, Eastern Illinois on November 10, and South Carolina on November 16.

A major highlight of the season is Indiana’s first-time participation in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. The Hoosiers will compete against teams such as Arizona, Davidson, Gonzaga, Louisville, Oklahoma, Providence, and West Virginia. The three-day event will be held from November 27-29 at the Imperial Arena, a unique venue set in a grand ballroom. Games will be broadcast on ESPN networks.

Upon returning to Bloomington, Indiana will face Sam Houston State on December 3, Miami (Ohio) on December 6, UT-Chattanooga on December 21, and Winthrop on December 28 to conclude their non-conference play.

Details regarding the Big Ten schedule, including tip times and television designations, will be announced at a later date.
