Harmony School Hosts 43rd Annual Golf Outing to Support Scholarship Fund

Harmony School invites the community to join in the 43rd Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at Cascades Golf Course, located at 3550 N Kinser Pike, Bloomington, IN 47404. This event aims to support the Miles Kanne Harmony School Scholarship Fund and is ideal for business teams, families, and individuals of all ages.

The event will kick off with a continental breakfast at 7:30 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 AM. Participants can look forward to a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and competition. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and the team fee is $600 per foursome. This fee covers green fees, carts, breakfast, refreshments, opportunities to win prizes, and a BBQ lunch provided by The Butcher’s Block.

The Golf Outing honors the legacy of Miles Kanne and Gene Flander. Miles Kanne served as Vice President of Cook Medical from 1964 to 1992 and was a dedicated member of the Harmony School Advisory Board for 30 years. Gene Flander was the president of the Harmony School Advisory Board until his passing in September 1987. All proceeds from the event will go to the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund, which distributed $65,000 in scholarships to students in 2023 and has provided nearly $800,000 in scholarships since its inception in 1980.
